(Week 1)
Suggestions made were; “Behind Closed Doors”, “The Girl Next Door” and “The Neighbour”. Title chosen was “The Girl Next Door” because it had a sense of enigma, and was more powerful as a title.
We discussed the option of creating either a psychological or slasher horror. After discussion we decided on a hybrid of the two.
The plot was outlined in our preliminary, we refined it, and finalised details as well as deciding our main characters and who would play them.
Think about how we will create our title screen in our trailer (to be done by Ellie for next week)

Discussed how and where we would film, locations such as the forest and Rachel’s house were decided on as key parts in the trailer. Also what time of the day for different scenes.

Avoid filming when people are passing
Keep the camera in a bag when it is not being used
Damage
Camera could be damaged by rain or carelessness
Keep a bag for the camera at all times of filming and cover in rainy weather
Permission
Filming may not be permitted in some locations such as neighbour’s houses
Ask for permission to film anything with neighbour’s house in shot and ensure all other locations aren’t private property unless allowed
